No more Jealousy

The mental health journey for a Christian can be full of joy and finding treasures in the darkness, but also full of moments where you must keep doing the next right thing as you persevere and choose to believe that God is working and He has not forgotten you.

Those seasons were God seems quiet are actually a breeding ground for faith to grow strong, but also an opportunity for the enemy to tempt you in many ways.

You might look at your thriving friend and wonder “How is she doing so well I’m spite of depression? How come I’m doing all the right things too and just cannot seem to get out from underneath this darkness?”

Do not let jealousy take a jab your joy for one second....

“For wherever there is jealousy and selfish ambition, there you will find disorder and evil of every kind.” James‬ ‭3:16‬

Your journey is unique. Do not grow weary in trusting God and His timing. You are not forgotten, not abandoned, and not a lost cause. There is a reason you are where you are in your mental health journey today. Stand firm in the Lord and do not let the enemy tempt you to be jealous of anyone, for that is evil according to God’s Word.

Oh dear sister, you are loved and your God has not forgotten you. Your God is never late, never slumbering, always watching, ever present, and perfectly able. Hold on with eyes locked on Him
