Miraculous inner peace and mental illness can coexist.

Mental illness tries to convince the mind that this torment will never end, but the power of illness to convince a mind submitted to the guidance of the Holy Spirit proves weak. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak; the spirit can thrive even while the flesh flounders.

The mentally ill child of God can have faith in Jesus - they can be fully convinced and therefore walk in purpose in spite of the pain their heart feels. They can sit securely in spite of the sadness, and they can cling to His promise of a perfect eternity amidst terrifying flashbacks.

Depression may tell the mind that peace has no place where mental illness resides, and to our human brains that seems logical. But the God of all peace shatters that lie. The peace He gives transcends our finite understanding and will guard your heart and mind through Christ Jesus.

Love Him, walk with Him, endure with Him, hope in Him, and experience the miraculous phenomenon of peace regardless of your circumstance.

“Now may the Lord of peace Himself grant you His peace at all times and in every way [that peace and spiritual well-being that comes to those who walk with Him, regardless of life’s circumstances]. The Lord be with you all.” 2 Thessalonians‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭AMP‬‬

I’m praying for you this morning,
