Sorrow & Grace
In Paul’s letter to the Philippians, he mentions Epaphroditus, his “brother, coworker, and fellow soldier.” In Philippians 2:27, Paul says of Epaphroditus: “Indeed, he was so sick that he nearly died. However, God had mercy on him, and not only on him but also on me, so that I would not have sorrow upon sorrow.”
𝐒𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰 𝐮𝐩𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰
But what happens when God’s good plan involves the death of your loved one and continuous waves of sorrow crash over your head?
We lean into Jesus, “For from his fullness we have all received 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐮𝐩𝐨𝐧 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞” (John 1:16).
And in your 𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰 𝐮𝐩𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰, His 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐮𝐩𝐨𝐧 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 will be more than sufficient
