The Transforming Word

When a broken mind is presented with temptation, training from the Word and mature faith leads to recognizing the trap as evil. Depression can present darkness as comforting, isolation as inviting, death as courageous, and tempt us to believe lies about the character of God. But scripture transforms the thinking, even of a broken mind, training you to distinguish between good and evil.

No time in the Bible, feasting on the solid meat found on each page, is wasted.

“Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.” Hebrews‬ ‭5:13-14‬
