Julie Busler is currently serving as the Oklahoma President of WMU, and travels often as a speaker and Bible teacher at various events. She is also active in the women’s ministry at Immanuel Baptist Church in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Upon graduation from The University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in ballet performance, Julie danced with Ballet Magnificat! in Jackson, MS. Julie and Ryan have been married 18 years, have 4 children, and have served overseas as missionaries in Canada, Mexico, Germany, and Turkey. Her book, Joyful Sorrow: Breaking Through the Darkness of Mental Illness, is available where books are sold online, as well as on Kindle and Audible. She is currently writing her second book (B&H Publishing) scheduled for fall 2025. Her story can be seen on The 700 Club and LIFE Today TV.
