Julie Busler is currently serving as the Oklahoma President of WMU, and travels often as a speaker and Bible teacher at various events. She is also active in the women’s ministry at Immanuel Baptist Church in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Upon graduation from The University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in ballet performance, Julie danced with Ballet Magnificat! in Jackson, MS. Julie and Ryan have been married 17 years, have 4 children, and have served overseas in Canada, Mexico, Germany, and Turkey. Her book, Joyful Sorrow: Breaking Through the Darkness of Mental Illness, is available where books are sold online, as well as on Kindle and Audible. She is currently writing her second book scheduled to come out in fall 2025.
